1. General information
SOS Fauna España is an independent project created to provide guidance on wildlife incidents.
This privacy policy applies to the website, the web app installed as a PWA and the Android app.
2. Personal data
SOS Fauna España does not collect personal data on, or transmit it to, its own servers.
Information entered by the user, such as their name, telephone number, location, photographs or videos, may be stored locally on their own device when needed to prepare a report, resume an unfinished report, keep a recent history or remember previously entered details.
This information remains under the user's control and is not automatically sent to any SOS Fauna España server.
3. Permissions used
The app may request access to the camera, location and the device's gallery or storage to prepare information for a report.
On Android devices, these permissions are used only when the user takes an action that requires them, such as obtaining their location, taking a photograph, recording a video or selecting a media file.
The user can allow or deny these permissions through their browser or device settings.
4. Local storage
SOS Fauna España uses local browser or device storage to improve the user experience.
This storage may be used to:

resume an unfinished report;
•
keep a recent history of reports;
•
remember certain details provided by the user;
•
temporarily retain the information needed to prepare a report.
This information remains exclusively on the user's device and is not synchronised with SOS Fauna España's own servers.
5. Voluntary sharing of information
SOS Fauna España does not automatically send the information prepared by the user.
When the user chooses to share a report through messaging apps, email, calls, maps or other external services, the selected information is transmitted to the service chosen by the user.
The terms and privacy policies of the external service may apply from that point onwards.
6. External services
When opening links, maps or messaging apps, making calls or using other external services, those services' own privacy policies and terms of use may apply.
SOS Fauna España does not control how these external services process data.
7. Deleting information
All locally stored information can be deleted at any time.
In the web or PWA version, it can be deleted by clearing site data in the browser settings or uninstalling the PWA.
On Android, it can be deleted by clearing the app's data in the device settings or uninstalling the app.
The app may also provide its own functions to complete or delete saved reports, where available.
8. Independent project
SOS Fauna España is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any public authority, emergency service, police force or wildlife rescue centre.
